Disco Christmas

Another year here in Taiwan for Christmas. It's easy to get a little bummed out as there is almost no feeling of Christmas here and the 25th is just another workday. Was feeling a bit down today when I saw this apartment decorated for Christmas. Not sure if you can see or not, but those are disco balls hanging amongst the decorations. Because, of course, nothing says Merry Christmas better than disco inferno!

No Drink and Drive

One of the ironic things of this sign is that it was posted at one of the MRT stations (subway) in Taipei. The only people who see it are the ones that already don't drive. I thought the wineglass mouth was pretty funny as well.

Desire Each Other Runs

Saw this tee shirt on the MRT this morning. Definitely words I live by.

Emergeny Ladder

Remind me not to have an emergency in this underground parking garage.

Taiwan Parking Insanity

My friends Tim and Anje have an insane parking space in their building. Talk about tight squeeze!

Two Peck

Today my coworker Veronica treated us to afternoon tea. In addition to tea, she also bought us fried chicken. What I thought was interesting was the packaging. The English name was Two Peck, which I would assume is a reference to the chicken. I couldn't help but think were they also trying to reference 2Pac. The chicken was tasty, however, the picture of the person on the package is what really freaked me out.
